Wincanton has appointed David Hauff as general manager of Wincanton’s EnergyLink operation.
The EnergyLink service which Hauff will head up was launched in 2016, and aims to support the ground fuels, aviation and bitumen markets by lowering distribution costs.
One of Hauff's key priorities in his new role will be to focus on compliance and safety, as well as strong customer service.
The division of the operator runs a fleet of more than 200 tankers.
Hauff said: “It is an exiting time to be working in the fuel distribution market. Customers are demanding a more innovative approach to the services we provide."
Wincanton's director of Energy Jonathan Shortis added: "EnergyLink is a fundamental part of Wincanton’s wider energy business and David’s appointment demonstrates both our commitment and investment in this area. We welcome David to the team and the wealth of experience he brings from the fuel distribution and retail markets.”
