In 2020, Diesel Technic UK & Ireland is celebrating its fifth anniversary and since 2015 has been reliably supplying its distribution partners and their workshop customers in Great Britain and Ireland with automotive parts and accessories with the product brands DT Spare Parts and SIEGEL Automotive.

The parent company was founded in 1972, and today, Diesel Technic is one of the largest suppliers in the automotive sector. Customers in over 150 countries especially value the one-stop shop: 41,000 products from one brands and one partner!

During the last two and a half years, the Diesel Technic Group made the largest investment in the company’s history of more than 30 million euros. Investing in the corporate headquarters in Germany and in parallel the logistics capacities in the subsidiaries have been expanded.

In preparation for Brexit, we invested in the expansion of our warehouse. This expansion has a direct influence on the stock capacity which has been greatly increased as a result. Today, our logistics capacities amount to a storage area of 18,000 sq ft with 11,000 items on stock.

The performance is complemented by a high availability of articles, state-of-the-art storage technology and tailor-made logistics solutions at Diesel Technic, including options like local same day pick up from Kingswinford warehouse, next day delivery before 10:00 or 12:00, overnight delivery to all areas of mainland Britain, Northern Ireland and Ireland as well as delivery to the Scottish Highlands within two days.

In addition to the warehouse expansion, the company’s team has grown including Mark Todd as general manager. Business hours have been extended 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday whilst our eCommerce procurement platform, the Partner Portal, is available to our customers 24/7.
