Clipper Logistics has won a contract with accessories and beauty products retailer Claire’s. The contract will cover the management and transport for Claire’s’ first online operation for consumers across the UK and Europe.
It will be run out of Clipper’s 310,000 ft² DC in Selby, North Yorkshire, and will also cover the management of returned items, including checking and processing them for re-sale on the same day.
Paul McQuaid, supply chain director at Claire’s, said: “Enabling our customers domestically and worldwide to order goods online is a key part of our growth strategy. We look forward to working with Clipper due to their proficiency with fashion and retail multichannel logistics.”
Clipper did not specify the length or value of the contract.
