CEVA Logistics has launched a new sub-brand, FORPATIENTS, which centralises its global healthcare and temperature-sensitive offering.

CEVA FORPATIENTS also encompasses pharma, biopharma, medical devices, consumer health, hospital and home care, as well as diagnostic and laboratory services and the company said having all of these under one umbrella provided greater visibility of its healthcare logistics services.

It confirmed that the sub-brand will apply in the UK and enable it to offer an end-to-end logistics solution that placed the patient at the centre of the supply chain.

CEVA said its healthcare strategy required investment in temperature-controlled facilities and as a result, it has committed to operating 40 airfreight stations around the world by the end of the year.

These stations will allow it to service healthcare gateways in regional markets and also supply more than 1,450 healthcare trade lanes.

Mathieu Friedberg, CEVA Logistics chief executive, said: “The global healthcare market has seen enormous change over the last year as a result of the pandemic that continues to affect daily life.
