Arboreal specialists Connick Tree Care has added three Isuzu 7.5-tonne trucks to its London fleet in order to boost the number of jobs it can complete in areas of limited space.
The N75.190 rigids have specialist arb bodies built by Southern Vehicle Bodies featuring cab mounted full-width toolboxes.
The Isuzus will tow chipping machines that can chip up to 200mm branches, which the company then recycles as a renewable biomass fuel.
Mike Connick, Connick Tree Care director, said: “Operating in central London, these LEZ compliant Euro VI Isuzus are ideally fit for purpose for this type of intensive operation, and they totally fit in with the company’s sustainability objectives.
“We also give the drivers full driver training to enhance the overall efficiency of the trucks.”
Operating with either two- or three-men gangs, the latest rigids will be in the company fleet for at least five years covering approximately 20,000km per annum.
