Cemex has launched an Apprentice Driver Scheme for 18 to 23-year-olds, and is on the hunt for 12 candidates for this year’s intake.
Run in association with training provider System Training, the scheme offers a professional framework to achieve a Driving Goods Apprenticeship Level 2 and a Category C licence.
Candidates must hold a category B, clean driving licence, together with a good level of Maths and English, proficiency in information technology and understand the importance of work place health and safety and customer service. Cemex added that “commitment, enthusiasm and initiative” are key to this development role.
Vacancies for this year will be located at Shap, Divet Hill, Dove Holes, Lincoln, Wickwar, Angerstein and Kingsmead.
