Yodel has strengthened its management team with the addition of Carl Moore as its new network operations director.
Moore, whose former posts include executive advisor for network strategy at Fedex/TNT and group operations director at UK Mail, will be responsible for overseeing Yodel’s national network of customer delivery depots.
He will report to Yodel’s chief operating officer, Adrian Harris.
Andrew Peeler, Yodel CEO, said that Moore “brings a wealth of invaluable experience to this role, which will be vital as we continue to strengthen our offering and focus on providing more value-added services to our clients and their customers in the future.”

Moore, who started his career as a van driver at age 18, said: “It is a very exciting time to join Yodel. There’s been huge investment in the business and I’ve seen nothing but positivity and ambition, from passionate and committed people.
"I look forward to working closely with my new colleagues throughout the business to firmly establish Yodel as the premier customer-focused parcel delivery company.”
Last year Yodel brought in Adrian Harris, Marks & Spencer’s director of clothing and home logistics, to take on the role of operations director.
Amazon’s external fulfilment chief Lucy Robertson also joined as director of Yodel’s sortation and transport, as part of the company's efforts to improve service levels and efficiency.
