Birmingham-based Carexp Logistics has joined the Fortec Distribution Network.
The company is covering part of the B postcode area in Birmingham.
A spokeswoman for the pallet network said the haulier had been brought on board to meet the demands of the region.
“As part of this process Fortec reconfigured the postcode area within the Birmingham region to manage volume.
“Other members in the area include Nova Express and Masterfreight,” she said.
Launched by director Phil Cole in 2008, Carexp Logistics began its business journey with just one man and one vehicle, handling air freight out of Birmingham and Heathrow airports.
Today the company specialises in air freight, sea freight and time critical services.

It employs 15 people and operates 15 vehicles, ranging from a Ford Connect van to an artic double-deck trailer. It operates from an 8,000sq ft site at Birmingham Airport.
Alex Cole, Phil’s son, said this was the business’s first time in a pallet network.
He said: “We took the decision to join Fortec due to our increased workload. Also being part of a network will allow us to expand our service offering to new and existing customers.”
