Wincanton-owned 4PL business Flatnet Construction is looking to recruit more hauliers having completed more than 32,000 loads in its first 21 months of trading.
Founded in in June 2015 in Ilkeston, Derbyshire with three members of staff, it has since relocated to bigger premises in a shared office development in Alvaston.
Flatnet logistics manager Chris Worthington said: "Flatnet’s first year was fantastic and we successfully set up the right infrastructure to manage all types of contracts big or small utilising Wincanton core fleet and approved hauliers.
“We move construction products all over the country from 44 sites using flatbed or curtainsided trailers with our network of hauliers."
As well as using its central planning team to match loads with Wincanton’s 3,000-strong fleet, it also uses third party vehicles.
While there are 1,600 operators on the approved list, Worthington is keen to recruit at least 40 more hauliers, especially in his growth areas of Staffordshire, the West and East Midlands and Lancashire.
