Bullet Express has opened a 4-acre storage facility in East Kilbride to meet demand for warehousing from its customers.
The site complements its Bothwell distribution operation and offers storage space for more than 4,000 pallets, pick and pack, and de-containerisation.
It has 14 dock levellers (pictured right) for loading and unloading containers and parking for trucks and trailers. The operator also hopes to rent out a five-bay vehicle maintenance workshop and office accommodation at the site.
Bullet Express MD David McCutcheon said: “We are very excited about this new venture for the company, it’s a natural progression that’s been brought forward by customer pressure.
“The site is a superb facility with secure fencing , CCTV and barrier entry which we hope to have as a bonded site in the near future.”
