German automotive product supplier Brose has extended its contract with Gefco by three years.
The new part of the contract will see Gefco deliver products from Brose’s production site in Coventry to one of its customers in Redditch. The original contract, held since 2005, already sees Gefco deliver vehicle seat frames to its Coventry site.
The operator will initially use its own fleet, but as volumes grow Gefco will provide dedicated vehicles in the Brose livery.
Gefco UK sales and marketing director John Stocker said: “This new contract with Brose demonstrates our commitment to going the extra mile to find flexible and innovative solutions to meet our client needs.”
Brose group leader of logistics at Brose, Wayne Holt, said: “We are delighted to be extending our relationship with Gefco through the introduction of this new flow. With this contract, we are looking to develop a successful long term partnership with a logistics supplier, and we believe the flexibility of Gefco’s offering will meet both our immediate and longer term needs.”
