‘Our zero-carbon HGV plan will rely on commercial partnerships,’ roads minister reveals

Goodyear has launched its Fleet Tracker app to help operators monitor the condition of their truck and trailer tyres. The app allows fleet managers to pinpoint the right time to plan tyre maintenance and to replace tyres to reduce downtime.

Concerns over the transition to EVs are rising after an index measuring the underlying strength of global supply chains indicated that it would breach the ‘high-risk’ threshold before the end of March.

Gregory Distribution has committed to cutting its greenhouse gas emissions by 4.2% every year and transitioning at least 5% of its fleet each year to alternative fuels including biogas, battery electric, HVO and hydrogen powered trucks, when they become available.
