Speedy Hire has added 39 new Isuzu 7.5-tonne rigids to its fleet and hailed them for providing the business with a “perfect solution”.
The order features rigid models specified with either beavertail plant bodies or half box/half curtain bodies and they will operate in various locations across the UK after being acquired on a five-year deal through Prohire.
Chris Dempsey, Speedy Hire MD, operational support, said: “Payload is critical to our operation and the Isuzus provide us with the perfect solution at this GVW, together with excellent back up support from our local dealer, Warrington Vehicle Centre.”
Jon Corcoran, Isuzu’s senior fleet sales manager, said it had a relationship with Speedy going back almost 10 years and its latest order would take that association well into the next decade: “Working closely with the incumbent truck provider Prohire, various bodybuilders and our local Isuzu Truck UK truck dealer, we have been able to supply Speedy with the right specification of trucks for their specialist distribution operation,” he added.
