Trucksters has struck a deal with rental firm Heisterkamp Group to incorporate 10 new semi-trailers into its fleet, featuring a host of safety features.

Built by German firm Kässbohrer, the units are equipped with full LED lighting systems and reflectors, as well as having a robust structural design, large interior load capacity, telematics, BPW axles and WABCO electronics.

Gabor Balogh, Trucksters co-founder, said: “This agreement is the start of a long-term partnership between Trucksters and the Heisterkamp Group.

“The addition of these trailers is a further improvement and competitive advantage for our truck drivers.”

Rafael Sánchez, Hesiterkamp business development director, said: “We are pleased to be chosen by Trucksters, to assist their mission in developing a relay system for FTL transport on different corridors between European countries through an innovative management system and a high level of digitalisation.”

Earlier this month, the Spanish-based start-up launched a new corridor connecting the UK to continental Europe and claimed it would reduce transport times by 50%.
