Logistics, distribution and storage business Bullet Express has opened a new 67,000 sq ft logistics centre at Westway Park in Renfrew, Scotland, in order to meet rising demand from new clients.

The new logistics centre will see Bullet Express increase its storage and distribution capacity by 14%, creating job opportunities for warehouse and inventory personnel within the local area.

The facility at Westway provides Bullet Express with close access to the M8 and to the new road link to Glasgow Airport. It will have capacity for 12,000 pallets - 10,000 for racked storage and 2,000 for floor storage.

The Renfrew site is the latest addition to Bullet Express’ expanding network. The company also has its Bothwell headquarters and express pallet facility, totalling 200,000 sq ft, which is used for netwotk distribution, and its Baillieston flagship storage centre, with 210,000 sq ft of racked and floor storage.

Bullet Express also operates a warehouse in Glasgow, totalling 32,000 sq ft, for high-bay racked storage and 50,000 sq ft of floor storage at its satellite storage centre at Glespin.

“The location also offers excellent connectivity, particularly allowing for easy access to the M8 and the new road link to Glasgow Airport. We are installing racking throughout the site to accommodate 12,000 pallets of which 10,000 will be racked storage and 2,000 floor storage.”
