The Pallet Network (TPN) has appointed Bob Delaney (pictured) as its new director of network development. A former employee of both Palletforce and Palletways, Delaney has spent his entire career in logistics and the past 20 years in pallet networks. Palletways UK has purchased longtime haulier member Systematic Logistics International (SLi) after it was placed into administration yesterday (29 November).
Volumes in UK pallet networks held up well in the third quarter, falling just 0.3% year on year, despite the impact of the viral pandemic.
Once again the UK’s nine pallet networks bucked the general trend within logistics in 2012, delivering another year of growth.
