Solomon Commercials has appointed Matt Hilton (pictured) as its new head of procurement.
The manufacturer of temperature-controlled vehicles said Hilton will lead a five-strong team at its Haslingden’s head office and had been tasked with helping to build strategic partnerships with Solomon’s suppliers.

Hilton, who has more than 33 years of procurement experience, said: “Our supplier partners are the key to our future, and we want to work with people that buy into our vision and be proud of working with and for us.”
Lancashire-based Solomon Commercials recently invested £2m in its headquarters to increase production capacity and last month it opened a 35,000 sq ft production facility in Darwen.
