GreenWhitestar Acquisitions (GWSA), the holding company for Eddie Stobart Limited (ESL), has given a positive trading update for the first half of the 2020 financial year. TNT Express saw a 13% drop in EMEA operating profit in the third quarter, despite a 3,2% turnover rise, due to “challenging trading conditions in Europe”. Turnover at Boughey Distribution fell during the first half of its current financial year, after the loss of a customer was not offset with enough new business.
