Abbey Logistics Group has added to its polymer transport business by winning a distribution contract with INEOS Olefins & Polymers UK. The agreement will see the bulk road tanker company take responsibility for transport planning and delivery services of polymer products for INEOS from its Grangemouth site in Scotland. In 1995, Abbey Logistics approached All Saints secondary school in Kirkby looking for talent to fill two management trainee vacancies. The young men it chose, Steve Granite and Paul Laverick, have grown up to become the current MD and commercial manager at the Merseyside company.
