Abbey Logistics Group has added to its polymer transport business by winning a distribution contract with INEOS Olefins & Polymers UK. The agreement will see the bulk road tanker company take responsibility for transport planning and delivery services of polymer products for INEOS from its Grangemouth site in Scotland. Abbey Logistics Group made a pre-tax loss of £3.6m for the year ended June 2018, after taking short-term pain for long-term gain as part of its self-set target to achieve an annual turnover of £100m by 2022.
