The Scottish Government is running a second consultation into its low-emission zone plans for Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow, which are due to be in place by the end of this year.
This survey is seeking to find out views on regulating the zones, such as enforcement, penalties and exemptions to ensure consistency across cities.
Holyrood’s vision is for Scotland to have the best air quality in Europe and welcoming the opportunity for the public to have their say, cabinet secretary for Transport, Michael Matheson said: "We know from previous consultations that there is broad support for the potential of low emission zones to protect public health and improve air quality, but there are a variety of views on our proposals for how LEZs will work consistently across Scotland.
"Through the Transport (Scotland) Act 2019 we have created the legal framework to create nationally consistent low-emission zones. I would encourage anyone with an interest to respond to this consultation on our ambitious proposals."
The deadline for responses to Scotland’s Low Emission Zones: Regulations and Guidance is midnight on 24 February 2020.
