Woodall Group in Birmingham has confirmed it is no longer working with The Pallet Network (TPN). Director Richard Woodall told MT it was plugging the gap in work previously provided by TPN by working with “a third party” but he did not go into any further detail. There is no sign of growth in the pallet sector slowing despite a “difficult trading climate”, according to the Association of Pallet Networks (APN).
Pollock (Scotrans) has joined the Palletways pallet network, covering the EH postcode as well as some of KY and TD. The West Lothian operator has signed a ten-year deal with Palletways. The Potter Group has officially begun marketing itself as a Palletline member, following its takeover of pallet network member House of James in May. Palletline now has a dedicated page with contact details on the Ripon-based multi-modal company’s website, after Potter received permission to join from the network’s executive early this year.
