Carole Walker has been promoted to CEO of Hermes Europe, with UK MD Martijn de Lange stepping into her shoes as UK CEO. The new appointments take effect from today (2 November). Hermes has revealed record results at its UK division, with revenue up 22% in 2011. The parcels company says this reinforces its position as the country’s second-largest home-delivery business. Revenue stood at €303m during 2011, up from €248m in the previous year.
