The London Assembly has backed the FTA’s call earlier this month to re-instate a dedicated freight chief at TfL.
A team of TfL officers is to tackle congestion in traffic hot spots across London in an effort to keep the capital moving.
The FTA has urged the government not to enforce driving licence checks once paper counterparts are abolished on 8 June, as the proposed online replacement is still not a viable alternative for fleet operators.
