Arrow XL has reported a significant boost in customer satisfaction since the launch of its AskAxl live tracking app last autumn. The two-man delivery firm said a third of its customers are now engaging with AskAxl, which provides real-time delivery status information and a live chat feature. Yodel made its seventh loss in a row in the year ended 30 June 2016, while its sister company Arrow XL saw its pre-tax profit leap by more than 500%.
Home delivery specialist Yodel has gone through some well-publicised growing pains since its creation from the merger of HDNL and the day domestic side of DHL in 2010.
Just before he left the business in January, Yodel’s then CEO Mike Cooper told MT about his four-point plan to turn Yodel around from years of losses to profitability.
