County Fermanagh-based Liam Connolly (Roadfreight) has signed a long-term agreement to be the all-Ireland member of the United Pallet Network (UPN). United Pallet Network member DBL Logistics has secured £1.8m of funding from HSBC to expand the business with a new 50,000ft² Sheffield DC. Due for completion in January 2013, the new site will run in tandem with DBL’s existing 25,000ft² facility in the Sheffield Business Park, and the company hopes additional volumes will boost its annual turnover, currently £3m per year.
