York-based haulage firm Revis Transport has continued its drive for growth with the acquisition of Spandler Bros from Bunn Fertiliser. The deal sees the firm expand its geographical reach, giving the company a foothold in East Anglia. This is the company’s second acquisition in 18 months, following its purchase of ABC (Grimsby) in April 2014. Redhead International has officially opened its new depot in Northern Ireland’s Mallusk. The opening ceremony on 27 July was performed by Northern Ireland’s executive minister for regional development, Danny Kennedy. The new 33,000ft² facility features a 20-tonne overhead crane for heavy lifting, as well as office space.
