DHL Tradeteam has announced James Gill as its new MD with immediate effect.
It follows the appointment of former MD Gavin Murdoch to president and representative director of DHL Supply Chain, Japan.
In his new role as MD, Gill will oversee Tradeteam’s nationwide on-trade and off-trade drinks network, distributing leading brands for blue-chip customers.
“I’m delighted to be taking over the reins from Gavin, who has done an excellent job over the past five years, leaving the business in good shape,” Gill said.
“These are interesting times for the drinks industry and I am looking forward to building on the successes of the last few years, focusing in particular on enhancing our service offering, bringing innovation to the market place and ensuring Tradeteam remains a great place to work.”
Gill brings more than 15 years’ experience to the role, having joined DHL in 2004. Most recently, he held the position of vice-president, finance, for the consumer and life sciences UK and Ireland, including three years on the board of Tradeteam.
