Yearsley Group has introduced a new global logistics and freight-forwarding service. The group says it can now offer customers a complete logistics operation from pick-up overseas (via partners) and import via air or sea, to delivery through its UK distribution network. The Lancashire firm says the new service will enhance its domestic port-side collection and delivery operation. Boroughbridge, Yorkshire food distribution firm Reed Boardall has been granted planning approval for a 110,000ft² extension to one of its cold stores.
Stobart Group has been granted permission for a 374,000 ft² distribution centre as part of its approved planning application to re-develop Carlisle Airport.
