UPS has appealed against the European Commission’s (EC) decision to prohibit its acquisition of TNT Express, on the basis the decision was “factually and legally erroneous”. UPS is under starter’s orders for the delivery of team kit to more than 300 London 2012 Paralympic athletes. The operation will require the warehousing, packing and delivery of more than 27,000 items. Kit will first be warehoused, before being picked and packed for athletes according to their size and individual requirements.
