CollectPlus is opening a Parcel Point operation at the Meadowhall Shopping Centre in Sheffield, enabling customers to drop-off packages and collect online purchases while shopping.
More than 25 million shoppers use Meadowhall each year, and CollectPlus says the new service will help extend and enhance its network of sites located at 4,700 corner shops and petrol stations.
Mark Lewis, CEO of CollectPlus - a joint venture between parcels giant Yodel and Pay Point - says: “For Meadowhall’s busy shoppers and retail staff, this means an end to wasted Saturdays or lunchtime queuing at out of town Royal Mail depots to return parcels.
“We know that our customers require flexible delivery and returns services and we are intent on helping retailers provide a solution that offers the greatest choice and convenience.”
