Bibby Distribution has extended its long-running contract with interior fit-out business Havelock.

The 12-month extension to the contract, which began in 2003, will see the relationship between the companies reach the 14-year mark.

Bibby collects interior furnishings from Havelock’s DC in Dysart, Fife and delivers to them to schools, stores and offices across the UK.

It also carries out some shunting for the firm between the Fife DC and Havelock’s factory in Kirkaldy.

Bibby provides a complete end-to-end operation for Havelock as its vehicles are all equipped with tail-lifts and pallet trucks, which enables drivers to load and unload the vehicles themselves.

Havelock’s operations director Paul Doleman said that Bibby had “consistently proved its ability to meet our demanding requirements”.

“Thanks to Bibby Distribution,” he added, “we have an efficient fleet that enables us to focus on our core competencies.”
