Beaches Logistics Group appoints new general manager at its Carlisle depot

Bryan Jones has joined Beaches Logistics Group as general manager of its Carlisle depot.

Jones (pictured) takes on the role following the departure of the previous general manager, Steve Murray, in August.

Jones said: “Beaches has a lot of prospects. I started as a 'white van man' 28 years ago, moved into pallets, and then management.

"I started at the bottom and worked my way up, but I think that’s important as I’m out there getting stuck in and have already secured several new customers who are confident about the service we can provide them.”

Jack Sims, MD of Beaches Logistics Group, said: “We are delighted that Bryan has joined the Carlisle depot as general manager."

“His appointment is the next step in driving the depot forward following the significant investment into the fleet and equipment over the last twelve months.

Bryan has brought a number of fresh ideas and is leading the development of the new customer care team and will be focused on identifying new opportunities for the business.”

Beaches Logistics Group bought Keyne Express Deliveries and KED Logistics out of administration last November.
