Arrow XL has reported a significant boost in customer satisfaction since the launch of its AskAxl live tracking app last autumn.
The two-man delivery firm said a third of its customers are now engaging with AskAxl, which provides real-time delivery status information and a live chat feature.
A two-hour delivery window service is also available to customers and the tracking app can reduce this down to a 30minute slot notified by text message or email.
Arrow XL CEO Ian Howell said: “With our live tracking and map feature, together with precise notification of the two-hour delivery window, we have the ability to offer an unprecedented level of transparency that gives us a competitive advantage.”
The company’s order tracking software has been developed in conjunction with software development partner FM Outsource.
Arrow XL specialises in large, fragile, and bulky items up to 120kg, which are delivered by the two-man delivery teams into the customer’s home and to their room of choice.
Motortransport.co.uk recently interviewed Arrow XL's Howell on the company's direction since its spilt from Yodel in 2013.
