Autotech Training has entered into partnership with CV parts distributor Alliance Automotive Group (AAG) to supply garages with a range of training courses and upskill its network.

Set to directly benefit from this new offer are AAG’s 1,200 network garages: AutoCare, United Garage Services, Top Truck, and NexDrive, each of which can utilise their annual training allowance to fund any Autotech training courses for light and heavy vehicles.

Autotech Training’s curriculum will include topics such as electric and hybrid vehicles and advanced driver assistance systems, addressing the evolving demands of the automotive industry and the current skills shortage.

Autotech’s trainers will deliver the courses within approved AAG venues, located within regions for ease of access and providing accessible and practical learning environments for vehicle technicians.

In a bid to meet the growing demands of modern vehicle maintenance and repair, Autotech Training said it would also develop new accredited courses tailored to AAG’s specific needs, covering both technical skills, such as hydrogen, and non-technical skills, including customer service.

Alistair McCrindle, director of operations at Autotech, said: “We are delighted to announce our partnership with AAG, which is the biggest in the history of Autotech Training and is a testament to our ability to create and deliver quality, accredited courses to the aftermarket.”
