Controlled temperature specialist Langdons is to take the name of its parent company Nagel Group and re-brand throughout the UK.
The Bridgwater, Somerset-based firm is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Nagel Group in Germany, and has been since 2004. It will now move to dual branding, before adopting 100% Nagel Group branding.
MD Aaran Osman said the rebranding will be very gradual with no retrofitting of the new livery to its existing fleet.
“With nine depots in the UK and consistent growing annual sales we have been very cautious about making any changes which might affect our position in the UK market but feel the time has come to standardise marketing throughout our EU operations and that, of course, includes us.”
He added: “I am very keen to assure our 2,000 plus customers that this re-branding will make no difference whatsoever to our very high service levels which we are constantly working to maintain and even improve – when that is possible .”
The operator has also filed its results for the 12 months ending 31 December 2012 at Companies House.
Turnover was up to £74.1m, compared to £67.5m in the previous year, while pre-tax profit rose marginally to £2.84m, compared to £2.73m in 2011.
