Knowles Transport has continued its longstanding relationship with Lawrence David and purchased 85 pillarless curtainsiders trailers following a hike in demand.
The new additions comprise a mix of replacements as well as new additions to bolster the company’s growing fleet.
Knowles added that the curtainsiders will also feature a new livery.
The company and Lawrence David have enjoyed a relationship that has so far lasted 40 years and spanned three generations of the Knowles’ family – each of whom has worked with three levels of the trailer maker’s personnel.

The pillarless curtainsiders feature a rear roof air diffuser, flush rear doors for functionality and aesthetics, full LED lighting, a premium load securing system, as well as providing maximum body access.
Heavily focused on improving fuel efficiency and reducing emissions from their vehicles, Lawrence David and Knowles Transport also worked together on innovations for fuel saving and environmental benefits.
