Fowler Welch wins new foodservice contract

Fowler Welch has won a contract with foodservice and retail food supplier Winterbotham Darby.

The contract, the value of which was not disclosed, will see Fowler Welch store, pick and dispatch in excess of 5 million cases per year from its facility at  Paddock Wood,  Kent.

Ian Render, operations manager at Winterbotham Darby, says: “We run an intensive operation which places high demands on the supply chain. We were looking for a distribution partner who could meet, and surpass, our needs and Fowler Welch stepped up the plate.
