EV Cargo recruits British rally driver to raise global profile

EV Cargo has appointed a “brand ambassador” to help boost its global exposure: British rally driver Elfyn Evans.

The 32-year-old is an official driver for the Toyota Gazoo Racing Rally Team, which competes in the FIA World Rally Championships (WRC).

EV Cargo said the WRC was a significant promotional platform, with TV audiences expected to reach one billion this year.

Dave Holland, EV Cargo vice president, said: “The partnership with Elfyn will allow the EV Cargo brand to be exposed to a huge worldwide audience and aligned with a number of global and consumer household brands.”

The WRC 2021 begins next week with the Rallye Monte Carlo.
