London City Bond has won a contract with wine importer Ehrmanns, following the customer’s assessment of the wine distribution market.
The contract will see Ehrmanns move into LCB’s warehouse in Barking, east London, which is capable of storing three million cases of wine. It will also cover round-the-clock deliveries across London, as well as distribution through its nationwide network.
Ehrmanns' director of logistics David Robin said the firm chose London City Bond after recommendations from its existing customers.
Neither party commented on the length or value of the contract.
Earlier this year, London City Bond won contracts with wine suppliers Awin Barratt Siegel and Burridges of Arlington St, both of which will be ran out of its Barking site.
