The DVSA is to give an update on its earned recognition scheme at this year’s Microlise Transport Conference on 17 May.
The scheme, which requires operators to make their telematics and other records available to the DVSA in order to demonstrate their compliance, was announced at the Microlise conference in 2015.
In June 2016, the DVSA said that it expected to roll out earned recognition early this year, following initial trials.
At this year’s event at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena, DVSA’s head of enforcement policy Gordon MacDonald will deliver a “key” update on the progress of the scheme.
Senior traffic commisioner Beverley Bell, due to step down later this year, will also speak at the free-to-attend event.
