Suffolk-based Bartrums Road Services has joined the Hazchem Network, taking on territory previously held in part by Anglia Freight and HW Coates.
Both operators released coverage territory to Bartrums in order for it to become depot 010 and manage delivery and collections for pallets and parcels of dangerous goods in postcode areas NR1-29; IP25 and PE31-32 and 35-36.
Ashley Rimmer, head of logistics at Bartrums Road Services, said: “We are very excited with our acceptance into the Hazchem Network and look forward to working with you all [in the Hazchem Network].”
Last month NLH Express Deliveries also joined the Hazchem Network to handle pallets in the ST postcode area, replacing the departing Browns Distribution Services of Stoke-on-Trent (not to be confused with Browns Distribution acquired by Turners (Soham) in 2012).
This year has also seen JJX Logistics and 2MV Logistics join the network.
