Multinational logistics and transportation firm Aramex UK has joined the Pallet-Track network as part of an “aggressive” UK growth strategy, the company announced this week.
The Dubai-headquartered company has business operations in more than 60 countries worldwide and employs more than 16,000 people.
Its services include international and domestic express delivery, freight-forwarding, integrated logistics and supply chain management and e-commerce solutions.
Aramex UK, which is based in an 80,000 sq ft warehouse complex in Poyle, near Heathrow, will service the SL3-6 and RG10 postcodes for Pallet-Track, helping it deepen its footprint in the UK’s local market.
David Taylor, Aramex UK country manager, said: “As well as expanding our footprint as part of an aggressive growth strategy, the partnership with Pallet-Track will help us manage our local costs and efficiencies and will also reduce our carbon footprint.
“We’ve had previous experience with the network, with some existing sensitive business passing through it successfully, so we’re delighted to be extending that to full membership.”
