Yusen Logistics will now handle all products destined for the UK from pharmaceutical manufacturer Glenmark as part of a major contract win.

As a result Yusen will provide temperature controlled pallet storage and pick and pack, as well as managing final mile delivery nationwide in the UK (on a Day one for Day three delivery basis) to wholesalers and pharmacies out of its 15,000m², licenced warehousing facility at Grange Park, Northampton.

Frank Packman, general manager, healthcare, at Yusen said: “Healthcare manufacturers are increasingly searching for high quality, end-to-end solutions to move their products throughout the supply chain, whilst maintaining a stringent temperature regime at all times.

“Maximising availability of stock, whilst minimising risk in the supply chain are driving demand,” Packman added.
