XPO Logistics Europe will invest tens of millions of euros in new Range D and Range T trucks over the next two years, the operator has said.
At a ceremony in Renault Trucks Square in Lyon to announce the deal, Renault Trucks earlier this month, president Bruno Blin also handed over the keys to the 2,500th Renault Trucks Euro-6 vehicle - which will join the XPO Logistics Europe fleet - to Luis Angel Gomez, XPO Logistics’ MD, Transport Solutions - Europe.
Gomez said: “The renewing of our longstanding collaboration with Renault Trucks [which stretches back to Norbert Dentressangle acquired by XPO in 2015] is further proof of our desire to continue investing in a ‘Guaranteed French Origin’ fleet over the forthcoming years.”
Blin said: “Delivery of this 2,500th Euro-6 Renault truck and the signing of this two-year contract demonstrate the confidence XPO Logistics has in our brand and the quality of French products.”
