XPO Logistics has won a multi-year contract renewal with safety equipment, work wear and safety services supplier Arco
XPO Logistics provides Arco with what it describes as an integrated, digitally managed transport service for less-than-truckload (LTL) distribution in the UK.
The shared network uses XPO technology to manage direct order entry, track freight consignments and deploy resources. 4G scanners at the Arco site improve trunk utilisation before onward shipping to 11 LTL sites.

When the contract began in 2017, XPO Logistics was managing the moment of 60,000 pallets a year from the client's NDC in Hull.
A spokewoman for the 3PL confirmed that this had increased to around 65,000 pallets annually.
Neil Griffiths, divisional director of logistics at Arco, said: “We have seen a continuous improvement in distribution performance over the two years of our partnership with XPO.
"This has helped us strengthen our supply chain relationships at all levels. We look forward to our ongoing collaboration.”
