Suttons International have appointed Jonathan Mackie to the role of commercial director, as part of the business’ growth strategy.

Mackie will be responsible for the development and implementation of the business’ commercial strategy to enable growth with new and existing customers across all the regions Suttons International operates in.

Suttons International is part of Suttons Group, a family-owned business which operates a global logistics service, specialising in the chemical, gas, fuel, and foodstuff sectors. The group, which also includes Suttons Tankers offers tank container, road tanker and multimodal services as well as fleet management and on-site logistics services..

Mackie joins Suttons International from medical equipment manufacturer and provider NRS Healthcare, where he held the post of commercial director. Prior to that, Mackie was the chief revenue officer for care services consultancy Norse Group.

Suttons International said Mackie brings a proven record of implementing successful commercial strategies, including sales and marketing plans, which will help deliver sustainable growth for the business.
