Sustainable fuels and fleet decarbonisation will be key topics discussed at the Scottish Clean Air Roadshow in Edinburgh on 18 October, organised by Motor Transport and sister title Transport News.
Free-to-attend, the half-day event will cover the rollout of Scotland’s Low Emission Zones (LEZs) across four major cities, as well as give operators the opportunity to explore the latest tools and technology to help future-proof their fleets.
Transport Scotland and Edinburgh Council will be on hand to discuss all elements of the LEZ plans, whilst expert speakers from Volvo Trucks UK, the RHA and Energy Savings Trust will look at the wider issue of decarbonisation as the UK works towards its net zero ambition.
You’ll also hear from Scotland’s Zero Emission Truck Taskforce about some of the collaborative work taking place by its industry members.
A wide range of Euro-6 and alternatively-fuelled trucks and vans will be available for you to check out on the day. So make sure to take the opportunity to chat with representatives from the following vehicle manufacturers, which will all be in attendance at the roadshow: DAF Trucks, Dawson Sweepers, Iveco, Maxus, Mercedes-Benz Trucks, Renault Trucks UK, Scania Scotland and event partner Volvo Trucks UK.
Refreshments and a free lunch will be provided to delegates attending the event.
The roadshow takes place at Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh on 18 October. It is completely free to attend, but you’ll need to secure a place online if you’d like to join us. Find out more and register for your free place today.
