Ross Eggleton has left his role as chief executive of NFT to become a senior advisor at its parent company EV Cargo.

Eggleton was promoted to chief executive, effective from January 2018, at NFT in 2017 having joined the chilled food operator the same year as chief operating officer from supermarket group Morrisons.

He is replaced by Mel Brockhouse and Aaron Scott, who have been promoted to joint MDs at NFT.

As part of this, Brockhouse is charged with operational responsibility while Scott will focus on customer development and continuous improvement at the logistics firm.

Brockhouse was director of logistics operations at NFT having joined in May 2018. He was previously with DHL Supply Chain for more than 18 years latterly as vice president, operations, retail UK.

Scott joined NFT in January 2018 and has worked since as a director, primary operations. Before this he was director of grocery at Wincanton.

As part of the changes David Frankish, previously chief executive at NFT, and most recently vice chairman, is to leave to further non-executive interests outside the EV Cargo group.

The changes come as NFT parent EV Cargo revealed the new senior management team for its four divisions, of which NFT forms part of its Logistics segment.
