Rivus Fleet Solutions has opened a new "flagship" garage in Southampton, 60% larger than its predecessor and capable of being able to support HGVs.
The fleet management company said the new site also includes conference facilities, which customers could use for training events and meetings.
The development follows the recent opening of a new garage at Cardiff, which is also HGV-compatible and offers turning areas of trailers up to 13-metres and height clearance for double decks.
Rivus said Bristol will be next to open with facilities that will match Southampton and Cardiff.
Investment in its garage network also means that most Rivus sites can now service, maintain and repair EVs too.
Geoff Allison, Rivus garage services director, said: “There’s a huge need from fleet operators to have first-class levels of resilience combined with a flexible approach – something which the pandemic has amplified.
“Our investment in the Rivus garage network will only strengthen our qualities in these areas, together with ensuring a seamless trasition to EVs for our customers.”
