Reed Boardall has landed a two-year extension on its 10-year partnership with Whitby Seafoods.

Under the deal the North Yorkshire logistics firm, which specialises in temperature-controlled food distribution, will continue to provide all primary UK cold storage and distribution needs for the seafood specialist across its frozen product. range.

The contract includes the collection of frozen finished products, as well as raw materials, from the company’s Whitby processing site and their transportation to Reed Boardall's cold storage facility at its headquarters in Boroughbridge.

From there the group, which operates around 240 trucks and 380 trailers, will distribute the products to retailers' and food service operators' distribution centres across the UK.
